Why You Need UMED

The UMED emergency medical records response system is particularly important if you or your loved ones are:

• Chronically ill persons with complex medical conditions might not be able to speak for themselves in an emergency, yet these are the very persons most likely to need emergency treatment.  Chronically ill persons are also more likely to have multiple physicians and to move their medical histories between primary care doctors and specialists.
