UMED is secure and accurate.

Safeguarding subscribers' records is the core of the UMED service.  Here are some of the many measures we take to ensure security, confidentiality, accuracy and system integrity:

• Record access requires a unique Member ID Code and a confidential member-generated Password.  A second, Alternative Password is also used for further security.
• In an emergency, our nurses will release a record to a physician only after a rigorous verification of their identity and that it is, in fact, an emergency.    MORE>
